Q. HOW DO I FIND THE WHIP?

A. The Whip is located precisely at 39°, 54’, 25” North latitude, 75°, 50’, .17” West longitude.

If traveling by automobile or horseback, you’ll find us at 1383 N. Chatham Road in Coatesville, PA,
at the intersection of Route 841 (North Chatham Rd) and Springdell Road.

Q. WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

A. Our posted hours are 11am to Midnight, every day except Tuesday.

Q. WHY ARE YOU CLOSED ON TUESDAYS?

A. It's quite a long story, involving castles, taxes and a monarchy gone awry.
Or it could be that we just don't like Tuesdays.

Q. DO WE NEED A RESERVATION?

A. We don't accept reservations (unless, of course, you happen to be a member of the Royal family).
However, if we can't seat you immediately, we invite you to belly up to the bar or warm
yourself by the fire. Someone will be with you post haste.

Q. WHAT'S YOUR BYOB POLICY?

A. The Whip proudly serves more than 50 domestic and international beers and ciders.
But if you fancy a bottle of wine – or perhaps even a jug of house-made grog from a secret recipe
handed down by your great-great-great uncle Ernest – please feel free to bring your own.
A $2.50 corkage fee will be charged for each BYO container of alcohol.

Q. HOW SHALL I DRESS?

A. Please, come as you will. If you're comfortable, we're comfortable. However, as
we may say in the old country, "dress smart." Meaning, no tank tops for men,
no short shorts (especially men), and no bare feet. Bonus points for red coats or jodhpurs.
